There's no place like home for the Southeast of Saline Trojans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past Chapman with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 59-44. That's another feather in the cap for Southeast of Saline, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Southeast of Saline got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Owen Bailey out in front who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Kejr, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Southeast of Saline pushed their record up to 7-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Chapman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
Southeast of Saline will head out on the road to take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beloit knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully the Trojans like a good challenge. As for Chapman, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Wamego is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
