Softball Recap: Superior Central Has No Trouble Against Stephenson

Superior Central won against Bark River-Harris last Tuesday with 22 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Cougars blew past the Stephenson Eagles 22-1. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Superior Central and bumps their season record up to 4-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.0 runs over those games. As for Stephenson, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Superior Central will head out to take on Ishpeming at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stephenson, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Norway at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
