Basketball Recap: Laramie's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Laramie lost against Sheridan back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Laramie Plainsmen took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheridan Broncs. The Plainsmen's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Laramie lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Max Alexander, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Mckinney, who posted 11 points.

Laramie's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Sheridan, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Laramie has already played their next match, a 76-62 loss against Campbell County on the 8th. Sheridan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
