The Chilton Tigers entered their tilt with the Brillion Lions with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Chilton took down Brillion 59-44 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Chilton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Brillion's loss came despite strong showings from Camden Hale and Emma Schuh. Hale scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Schuh scored seven points along with ten rebounds. Hale has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Chilton pushed their record up to 10-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Brillion, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Chilton will head out on the road to challenge Kohler at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wisconsin (Kohler is ranked 227th, while Chilton is ranked 233rd). As for Brillion, they will be playing at home against New Holstein at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
