The Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Spring Grove Rockets at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Spring Grove will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Greencastle-Antrim extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. Everything went the Blue Devils' way against Bermudian Springs as they made off with a 26-5 victory. Fans of the Blue Devils have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Bo Brookens made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Jaxson Bostick looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Cam Rakaczewski, who got on base in all six of his plate appearances with five runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (four). Another player making a difference was Nolan Sullivan, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.
Greencastle-Antrim always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bermudian Springs only posted an OBP of .375.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Spring Grove brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past William Penn 15-1 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won seven in a row.
Peityn Wonder was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). Wonder was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Luke Husser was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Brady Myers was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Spring Grove's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Greencastle-Antrim, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Everything went Greencastle-Antrim's way against Spring Grove when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Greencastle-Antrim made off with a 17-4 victory. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
