Lyons won the last time they faced Rochester Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Lyons Lions blew past the Rochester Academy Racers 99-73. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 26 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lyons and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Rochester Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Lyons will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2025 against Canisteo-Greenwood at 4:00 p.m. Canisteo-Greenwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lyons likes a good challenge. As for Rochester Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 77-39 loss against School of the Arts on the 28th.
