The Saginaw Rough Riders's nine-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past South Hills 49-0 at home. The victory was just what Saginaw needed coming off of a 42-10 loss in their prior matchup.
Saginaw can attribute much of their success to Corey Baker, who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Roman Morales was another key contributor, throwing for 128 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.
Saginaw's win bumped their record up to 1-9. As for South Hills, they bumped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Saginaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Hills also has no future games currently scheduled.
