Glacier Peak hasn't had much luck against Jackson recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will host the Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. Glacier Peak is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
Glacier Peak barely beat Cascade the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Grizzlies never let the Bruins get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Monday. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.
Hailey Lines looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Glacier Peak let Alexis Garcia and Lauren Hufford run wild. Garcia scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Hufford scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave Hufford a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Audrey Fortune, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Glacier Peak hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cascade struck out nine times.
Meanwhile, Jackson fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Kamiak on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 7-6. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Allie Thomsen (2025-UW) was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over 9.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Thomsen (2025-UW) was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Reese Westman (2026) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-5. Clara Stone(2027) was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one RBI.
Glacier Peak pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Jackson, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.
Glacier Peak's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's matchup. The Grizzlies have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Jackson, though, as they've been averaging only 0.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Glacier Peak continue to outrun the ball?
Glacier Peak came up short against Jackson in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 5-1. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
