The Northwest Jaguars lost against the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Northwest took a serious blow against the Screamin' Eagles, falling 71-16. Northwest has struggled against the Screamin' Eagles recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Seneca Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Danika Barnes, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnes has scored all season. Jayden Addison was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six steals.
Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Seneca Valley, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Northwest will take on the Coyotes at TBD on Monday. Clarksburg will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Seneca Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m.
