The Worcester Tech Eagles were the 71-48 winner over the Burncoat Patriots when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Worcester Tech received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 66-51 to Burncoat.
Leading Burncoat to victory were Kevin Dunn and Jayden Mwangi. Dunn scored 15 points, while Mwangi scored 15 points. Jaiden Johnston was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Worcester Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Burncoat, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Worcester Tech will head out on the road to face off against Auburn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burncoat, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Blackstone-Millville at 6:30 p.m.
