North Brunswick's loss  came despite strong showings from  Kane Jenrette and  Jack Baker.  Jenrette  went 6-for-13  to rack up 15 points and five  boards, while  Baker  posted 11  points and six  rebounds. Jenrette's evening made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least 15 points.  John Fanning was another key player,  putting up four  points and three  blocks.

 Laney got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jordan Mosley out in front who  dropped  a double-double with 12 points and 11  boards. The dominant performance gave  Mosley a new career-high in  rebounds.  John Wright also deserves some recognition as  he  grabbed his first  steal of the season.
North Brunswick's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Laney, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record  this season.
 Looking ahead, North Brunswick will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashley  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Ashley knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully North Brunswick likes a good challenge. As for Laney, they will head out to  face off against Topsail  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Topsail will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Laney surely won't give up without a fight.
