The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for High Point in their matchups with Bowie: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, High Point still got an impressive performance from Ibrahim Turay, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Kadan Solomonraj, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Bowie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tremain Rowles, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rowles has scored all season. Ashenafi Stuart was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
High Point bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Bowie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
High Point will be playing at home against Bladensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowie, they will face off against John Champe at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
