Kings Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully the Lions like a good challenge.
Kings Christian can now show off 21 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They blew past Riverdale 76-31 at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Kings Christian had established a 35 point advantage.
Ronnie Roche was his usual excellent self, scoring 35 points along with seven steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Elyas Miro, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Wonderful College Prep Academy, who are still winless after their fifth match. They had to suffer through a rough 58-24 loss at the hands of Riverdale Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wonderful College Prep Academy has scored all season.
Kings Christian pushed their record up to 25-2 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.7 points. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Everything came up roses for Kings Christian against the Lions when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 78-41 victory. With Kings Christian ahead 46-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
