Verrado had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 52 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with  a   14-6  win over the Desert Edge Scorpions. The Vipers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scorpions, too.
Leading Verrado to victory were  Sanaa Holliday and  Jhaylah Scisson.  Holliday threw for 226 yards and two  touchdowns, while  Scisson picked up 154 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs.

The Vipers' defense better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 37.7  points per game this season. As for Desert Edge, they will head out on the road to  challenge  La Joya Community  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
