Florence put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the ALA - Ironwood Warriors as the Florence Gophers made off with a 9-2 win. Nine seems to be a good number for the Gophers as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Adrian Rodriguez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season. Tanner Gammons was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Florence pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for ALA - Ironwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Florence will face off against Show Low at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Florence is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season. As for ALA - Ironwood, they will square off against Payson at 6:00 p.m. on March 17th.
