The Sweetwater Wildcats have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They managed a  52-46 win over Loudon  on Saturday. For Sweetwater, this counts as revenge for the   53-42 defeat Loudon walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in December of 2023.
 Sweetwater got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Lilly Woodruff out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 14  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kendall Tyler, who  scored 16 points.
 Sweetwater is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-13 record this season. As for Loudon, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sweetwater will  challenge Meigs County at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meigs County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sweetwater in Tennessee (Meigs County is ranked 113th, while Sweetwater is ranked 302nd). As for Loudon, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Roane County at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Roane County will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
