The Goleman Gators lost against the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes back in November of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Goleman was beaten by the Tornadoes 76-47.
Goleman's loss came despite strong showings from Albert Guerra and Khimari Hudson. Guerra scored nine points, while Hudson scored five points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Frudrias Porter, who scored eight points.
Leroy Lee Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Booker T. Washington, scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lee Jr has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahmal David, who scored 14 points.
Goleman has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Booker T. Washington, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.
Goleman will face off against the Firebirds at TBD on Tuesday. Doral Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Gators in Florida (the Firebirds are ranked 231st, while the Gators are ranked 653rd). As for Booker T. Washington, they will face off against the Golden Hawks at TBD on Tuesday.
