Hanover was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lebanon on Tuesday. The Bears blew past the Raiders 18-7. Considering the Bears have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Wynn Casey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Sean Nam was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
