Colton Schlief posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Gulf Coast is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-11 otherwise.
