Friday just wasn't the day for Walnut Springs's offense. They were  outmatched by Texas Wind on the road  and fell  46-0. The Hornets have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Josue Ontiveros rushed for 45 yards.
  Johnny Salmans continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Texas Wind, rushing for 81 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.  Zane Walker was in the mix  too, providing Texas Wind with a touchdown.
 Walnut Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Texas Wind, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walnut Springs is on the road again  on Friday to play Garland Christian Academy at 7:30  p.m. As for Texas Wind, they will head out to  take on Westlake Academy  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Texas Wind knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 point or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Westlake Academy likes a good challenge.
