For Currituck County, this counts as revenge for the 68-52 defeat Manor walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2019.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Currituck County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamie Dance, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Dance posted two or more blocks. Malcolm Cowell was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Currituck County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Manor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Currituck County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech is hoping to put an end to a 12-game streak of away losses. As for Manor, they will head out on the road to take on Norcom at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
