The Forestburg Longhorns's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down Petrolia 58-41. This was payback for Forestburg, who suffered a 42-22 loss the last time these two teams met.
Forestburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brenna Briles, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Briles hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 13 straight games. Lili Cisneros was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.
Forestburg pushed their record up to 21-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Petrolia, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-18.
Forestburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Petrolia also has no future games currently scheduled.
