The Bethesda Christian Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indianapolis Washington Continentals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Bethesda Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory.
Defeat or not, Bethesda Christian got some senior leadership from Kenzie Fulks who scored 12 points along with six assists and three steals and Jayla Ferguson who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Fulks also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Tori Hamilton was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Indianapolis Washington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 60-41 fall against Herron.
Bethesda Christian's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-4. As for Indianapolis Washington, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
