On Thursday, La Serna are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Mira Costa at 3:15 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
La Serna were fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Troy 46-0.
Meanwhile, Mira Costa had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last week as the team lost 13-14 to St. Francis.
La Serna's win lifted them to 2-0 while Mira Costa's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if La Serna can add another positive mark to their record or if Mira Costa can shake off the loss and take the spring out of La Serna's step.
