The Paradise Honors Panthers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They beat Thunderbird by the very same score they won with last week: 59-20. The win was familiar territory for Paradise Honors who now have five in a row.
Paradise Honors' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Morgan Van Dyke led the charge by scoring ten points along with seven assists and four steals. Van Dyke has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Jocelyn Leal was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Paradise Honors is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Thunderbird, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.
Paradise Honors won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Shadow Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Shadow Mountain comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Thunderbird, they will be playing at home against Yuma at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Yuma is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
