Masuk has gone a perfect 10-0 against Immaculate recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. Masuk will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Masuk's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Harding as they made off with a 12-0 victory. Considering the Panthers have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grace Ely made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Masuk got a massive performance out of Izzy Debernardo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Mary Saunders was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Masuk was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Immaculate, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Kolbe-Cathedral 13-1 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.
Like Masuk, Immaculate also got a great game from a two-way player: Maddie Costa. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Costa has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Laurel Pucci was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Caroline Murray, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Immaculate's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Masuk, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Masuk has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Immaculate struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Masuk came out on top in a nail-biter against Immaculate in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, sneaking past 8-6. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
