After flying high against Stewart County last Friday, Fairview came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets and the Sycamore War Eagles were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Yellowjackets suffered a 31-30 loss. The Yellowjackets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Although Fairview took the loss, they still got scores from Bryson Harrison, Julius Carter, Kentrell Harrison, and Gage Proctor.

Fairview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Proctor picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Hicks Hunter produced another solid effort rushing for 135 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 15 yards and one TD for Sycamore. Hunter's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 122 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Sycamore, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
