Cordell have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Thomas-Fay-Custer on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The odds don't look promising for Cordell, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Two weeks ago, Cordell came up short against Okeene, falling 12-21. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Cordell.
Meanwhile, Thomas-Fay-Custer strolled past Hinton with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 24-6.
Thomas-Fay-Custer's win lifted them to 1-1 while Cordell's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Thomas-Fay-Custer can add another positive mark to their record or if Cordell can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Thomas-Fay-Custer's step.
