Humble was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Kingwood Mustangs, falling  3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 While Humble was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-7,  25-23.
 Jaci Casas paced Humble's offense, picking up eight kills. Casas got some help from  Dalila Ramirez and her seven assists.
 Kingwood was led to victory by  Sammi Zeller and  Addison Baccus.  Zeller  had nine  digs and six  assists, while  Baccus  had five  assists and two  aces.
Humble's loss dropped their record down to 12-24. As for Kingwood, they pushed their record up to 14-25 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Humble does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kingwood has  already played their next  match (against West Fork), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
