A room full of about 200 family and friends showed up at
St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) this afternoon to witness their student athletes sign national letters of intent. Out of those 35, eight were Division I football recruits.
Austin Barron and teammate
Rashad Greene will room and play together at Florida State. The big turn event happened this morning, when one of the nation's top cornerbacks,
Marcus Roberson, flipped from Auburn to Florida. Roberson,
rated No. 10 by MaxPreps among the nation's top cornerback prospects,
originally made a verbal commitment to Texas Tech, but he switched to
Auburn on Monday.
However, Roberson changed his mind again within
a 48-hour period and decided to remain in the Sunshine State and sign
with Florida.
Quarterback
Jacob Rudock made it official and signed with Iowa.
