A pair of third-round playoff clashes on Tuesday match Top 10 teams in the MaxPreps Texas Top 25.
The top-rated team, Judson (Converse) faces No. 7 Churchill (San Antonio) in a Region IV quarterfinal scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at UT-San Antonio's Convocation Center.
Judson (33-1) is riding a 31-game winning streak. Churchill (31-3) hasn't lost in the 2014 portion of its schedule.
No. 3 North Shore (Houston) collides with No. 4 Manvel in a Region III quarterfinal set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Clear Springs (League City).
Since losing at Port Arthur Memorial on Jan. 3, North Shore (30-3) has won in dominant fashion. No game has been closer than 11 points.
Manvel (30-4) survived a difficult area-round playoff test, taking out defending Class 5A state champion Fort Bend Travis (Richmond) 61-59.

The Eagles knocked out Killeen 42-33 in bi-district and Lewisville 63-49 in area behind
Takedrick Brown's 19 points. Next is a Region II quarterfinal against Harker Heights Tuesday in Waco.
3. North Shore (Houston) 30-3 (3)
The Mustangs look playoff-ready after a 77-43 bi-district win over Rayburn (Pasadena) followed by a 71-43 area rout of Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City). Junior
Kerwin Roach had 18 points against Elkins. Next is a Region III quarterfinal showdown with Manvel.
4. Manvel 30-4 (4)
The Mavericks cleared a big hurdle by edging 2013 Class 5A state champion Fort Bend Travis (Richmond) 61-59 in an area playoff.
Leon Gilmore led Manvel with 15 points. In the bi-district round, Manvel eliminated La Porte, 46-39. Next is a Region III quarterfinal against North Shore (Houston).
5. Fort Bend Bush (Richmond) 28-5 (5)
The Broncos survived a slowdown in the bi-district round, defeating Clear Falls (League City) 24-18. In the area round
Brandon Jones led with 17 points in a 53-48 victory over Pearland. Up next is a Region III quarterfinal against Port Arthur Memorial.
6. Plano West (Plano) 23-6 (6)
After disposing of Richardson 90-57 in bi-district, the Wolves took out Longview 75-65 in area with
Avery Johnson Jr. scoring 25. Next is a Region II quarterfinal against Berkner (Richardson) in Garland.
7. Churchill (San Antonio) 31-3 (7)
Ben Mammel poured in 33 points to spark the Chargers to a 63-43 area rout of Brandeis (San Antonio). In its playoff opener, Churchill tamed Smithson Valley (Spring Branch) 68-56. Next is a showdown with No. 1 Judson (Converse) in a Region III quarterfinal.
8. Atascocita (Humble) 27-6 (13)
Jai Edwards led four double-figure scorers with 17 points in a 74-57 area triumph over Akins (Austin). In the opening round, the Eagles crushed The Woodlands 73-48. Up next is College Park (The Woodlands) in a Region II quarterfinal.
9. Lancaster 29-4 (14)
Following an 88-63 bi-district blowout over Jacksonville, the Tigers cruised past Wylie 70-54 in area as
Antwon Portley scored 22. Up next is Whitehouse in a Class 4A Region II quarterfinal in Athens.
10. Hebron (Carrollton) 25-7 (16)

After struggling to get past Nimitz (Irving) 44-40 in bi-district, the Hawks took out South Grand Prairie 44-34 in the area round.
Justin Montgomery led the way with 15 points. Next is Duncanville in a Region I quarterfinal set for UT-Arlington.
11. Andress (El Paso) 29-2 (10)
The Eagles secured safe passage to a Class 4A Region I quarterfinal against Palo Duro (Amarillo) with playoff wins over San Alizarin (78-36) and Lubbock (90-59).
12. Madison (Dallas) 25-4 (12)
The defending Class 3A state champions breezed through the first two playoff rounds, routing Anna 82-35 and Ranchview (Irving) 80-50 with
Admon Gilder leading the way with 15 points. Next is Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas) Tuesday in Dallas.
13. Bowie (Arlington) 27-4 (15)
The Volunteers squeezed out two playoff wins by a total of three points. First, a 47-45 bi-district triumph over Northwest (Justin) followed by a 65-64 thriller over Tascosa (Amarillo).
David Chavlovich led Bowie with 23 points. Next is a Region I quarterfinal against Coronado (El Paso) in Midland.
14. Allen 24-7 (20)
No problem in the first two rounds for the Eagles, a 70-47 bi-district elimination of Jesuit (Dallas) and a 49-30 ousting of Mesquite in area. Up next is Lakeview Centennial (Garland) in a Region II quarterfinal set for Berkner (Richardson).
15. Keller 24-5 (21)
The Indians have a date in Abilene for a Region I quarterfinal against Coronado (Lubbock) after a 58-49 bi-district win over Paschal (Fort Worth) and 59-53 area victory over Permian (Odessa).
16. Harker Heights 27-4 (NR)
C.J. Bobbitt's shot on the run with seven seconds remaining in overtime was the difference in a 63-62 overtime victory over Marcus (Flower Mound) in an area playoff. Next is No. 2 DeSoto in a Region I quarterfinal.
17. Prestonwood Christian (Plano) 32-4 (23)
The Lions advanced two rounds in the TAPPS state tournament, defeating St. Joseph (Brownsville) 77-41 and Bishop Dunne (Dallas) 71-59 with
D.J. McGee scoring 25. Next is a state semifinal against Cathedral (El Paso) Friday in Mansfield.
18. Marcus (Flower Mound) 25-5 (17)*
The playoffs started well for the Marauders, a 75-44 bi-district thumping of Irving. But in the area round, Harker Heights ended Marcus' season in overtime, 63-62.
Michael Mayhew led Marcus with 20 points.
19. Cypress Woods (Cypress) 26-5 (NR)
The Wildcats survived a couple of tight playoff wins, 69-65 over Nimitz (Houston) and 66-64 over Westside (Houston).
Samir Sehic led Woods with 22 points against Westside. Up next is a Region III quarterfinal against Seven Lakes (Katy).
20. Cypress Lakes (Katy) 26-5 (NR) Nick Garth had 29 points and
De'Aaron Fox posted 27 in an 82-74 area win over Bellaire. It came on the heels of a 68-54 bi-district win over Davis (Houston). Up next is Alief Taylor (Houston) in a Region III quarterfinal.
21. Tascosa (Amarillo) 25-2 (9)*
The Rebels breezed in bi-district, 62-44 over Franklin (El Paso), but saw a dream season come to an end in a 65-64 area-round loss to Bowie (Arlington).
22. Duncanville 20-11 (24)

The Panthers fought back from a 12-point halftime deficit in a 55-44 overtime win over Coppell in an area playoff as
D.J. Wallace scored 23 points. Duncanville, a 64-57 bi-district winner over Copperas Cove, faces Hebron at UT-Arlington in a Region I quarterfinal.
23. South Grand Prairie 23-7 (8)*
Last year's Class 5A state finalist defeated Shoemaker (Killeen) 64-61 in bi-district, but was eliminated by Hebron 44-36 in an area rematch of last year's Region I title game.
D.J. Thorpe led the Warriors with 17.
24. Wheatley (Houston) 28-4 (25)
The Wildcats are in a Region III quarterfinal after playoff wins over Tomball Memorial (63-51) and Texas City (88-85) with
Gerald Thomas scoring 19 in the latter. Up next is Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City) in a Class 4A Region III quarterfinal.
25. Seven Lakes (Katy) 28-6 (NR)
Junior forward
Kameron McGusty scored 27 points in the Spartans' 69-53 area victory over Langham Creek (Houston). Seven Lakes disposed of Sam Houston (Houston) 60-51 in bi-district. Next is Cypress Woods (Houston) in a Region III quarterfinal.
Dropped out: No. 11 Dunbar (Fort Worth), No. 18 Trinity (Euless), No. 19 Bel Air (El Paso), No. 22 Clear Lake (Houston).
