Colorado Springs Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kinley Asp, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Grace Minihane, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Rangeview's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Colorado Springs Christian, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.
Rangeview won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Denver South at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Denver South is coming into the match with five straight losses at home, meaning Rangeview will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they will head out on the road to take on La Junta at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for La Junta: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Colorado Springs Christian has snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
