On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Patrick Radigan, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Micah Nytrae, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Unioto sidestepped Indian Creek for a 2-0 victory.

Unioto has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Lake Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 24-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lake Catholic has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8 strikeouts per game.
