Only one new leader in the regional rankings this week as Kahuku (Hawaii) used a win over Punahou, and an upset loss by previous No. 1 St. John Bosco in the California Southern Section Pac-5 playoffs, to vault into the No. 1 spot in the Farwest.
St. John Bosco did not drop out of the Farwest rankings, but did slip to No. 6. The loss was the first on-field defeat of the season for St. John Bosco, which has four forfeit losses. Forfeit losses do not affect a team's computer rating.
