(NR) Duncanville (Texas), 12-1The Panthers were stunned by Mansfield Timberview (Arlington) on Saturday, but boast an impressive resume with notable wins over No. 20 DeSoto, North Crowley (Fort Worth) and Prestonwood Christian (Plano). Under first-year coach Danny Henderson, who is coming off back-to-back 5A titles at Marcus (Flower Mound), Duncanville is allowing just 43.6 points per game.
20. (19) DeSoto (Texas), 10-1The Eagles captured the title at the Arlington Classic over the weekend, thumping highly regarded South Grand Prairie in the final, 60-37. DeSoto's only loss came in the final of the McDonald's Texas Invitational to No. 19 Duncanville.
