Nansemond River dropped down to 5-3 on Tuesday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oscar Smith Tigers. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Oscar Smith, the win got them back to even at 5-5. They haven't had any issues with Nansemond River recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

For Oscar Smith's part, the team relied heavily on Alex White, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. White has become a key player for the Tigers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-5 otherwise. Dalton Blanks also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
