Patrick School (Elizabeth, N.J.) became Kentucky's first commitment in the 2017 class by unveiling some stylish Wildcats' shoes on Friday afternoon.
The nation's No. 2 senior center and 14th overall prospect picked the Wildcats over Arizona and Syracuse among others.
The 6-foot-11, 235-pound monster averaged a respectable 12 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game on the Nike EYBL circuit this offseason for Expressions Elite. He also charged the Celtics to a
No. 5 ranking in the New Jersey state rankings last season.
Richards should be an elite rebounder and rim-protector for Wildcats next season.
