Central Catholic (Modesto) lost to Sierra (Manteca) last week and that means a new No. 1 NorCal Division IV team in the MaxPreps California Bowl Rankings.
The two-time defending state champions fall behind McClymonds (Oakland), which did not play last week. Central Catholic has defeated McClymonds the past two seasons in the NorCal Division IV regional game.
Sutter also moved back to the top spot in Division III in Northern California after St. Ignatius (San Francisco) lost to Bellarmine (San Jose). St. Ignatius dropped to No. 3 while Campolindo is No. 2.
The highest-debuting team this week is Oak Hills (Hesperia), which joined the SoCal Division II rankings at No. 4.
