One of the more intriguing names in high school basketball's Class of 2019 is on the move.
According to a report by
Steve Fryer of the Orange County Register,
Dennis Rodman Jr. – he goes by "D.J." – is leaving Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, Calif.) for nearby
JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.).
Rodman averaged over 17 points per game last season for Corona del Mar, which went 22-8 and reached the quarterfinals of the Southern Section Division 1A playoffs.
He also played football for the Sea Kings last season and shined as a big target at wide receiver. See him

Dennis Sr. played his last game in the NBA in 2000, capping a career that included a long run with Detroit in addition to stints with San Antonio, Chicago, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas. He was a member of 11 playoff teams, five world championship teams and is regarded as one of the best defenders and rebounders in league history.
