The field has been narrowed to five in the sweepstakes for the nation's No. 1 high school basketball recruit.

Harry Giles, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward at Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.), announced via Twitter that Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and Wake Forest are still in the running for his services.

It may be worth noting that good friend and fellow top-five prospect Jayson Tatum of Chaminade (St. Louis) committed to Duke earlier this month.

247Sports has Giles pegged as the No. 1 prospect in the 2016 class and he's done nothing to diminish that standing over the summer. He won a gold medal with USA Basketball at the FIBA U19 World Championship and was the MVP of Nike's ultra-competitive Elite Youth Basketball League.

As a junior at Wesleyan Christian Academy, Giles posted 23.9 points and 12.5 rebounds per game en route to MaxPreps All-American honors. The Trojans finished the season ranked No. 12 nationally.
