With more than 5,000 games on Friday alone, this past weekend of high school football saw no shortage of insane statistical performances. We are highlighting some of those in the latest edition of
Stat Freaks of the Week.
Dakoda Pearson of
Tom Bean (Texas) tops this week's list after dominating from the outside on both sides of the ball in his team's 36-28 win Friday. The 6-foot-5, 175-pound senior recorded five interceptions defensively while hauling in seven receptions for 87 yards as a receiver.
Ja'Tyrian Moore of
Tenaha (Texas) also deserves mention after rushing for 417 yards and six touchdowns (both school records) while throwing for another touchdown in a 50-38 win. The junior also converted a pair of 2-point conversions, recorded eight tackles and had a pass deflection.

South Carolina running back Terrence Smith averaged over 15 yards per carry en route to over 400 yards in a 63-56 loss Friday to Lexington.
