The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Jarron Murry jr. and Michael Johnson. Johnson had a great game and scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Meanwhile, Murry jr. did his best for the losing side, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Beech Grove were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. This was only their ninth loss (out of 12 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
Indianapolis Lutheran has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Beech Grove, they bumped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
