Just about all sections in Northern California have kicked off with the Oakland Section doing so this week, meaning McClymonds takes on Central Coast Section power Bellarmine of San Jose.
It'll be hot up and down the state this week with temperature soaring into the 100s and beyond, but there isn't a hotter game in Northern California than the showdown of the week Serra taking on De La Salle. Serra topped Folsom 17-12 on a hot night last week and must get back up against the Spartans for an ESPN televised game on Friday.
