Paul VI opens Monday vs. Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, Md.).

8. (16) White Station (Memphis, Tenn.), 3-0
The Spartans made an early-season statement Saturday night at the inaugural Lighthouse Classic in Corinth, Miss., hammering DeSoto (Texas) 64-33. The Lone Star State squad was coming off a tournament victory at the McDonald's Texas Invitational and looking like a potential national Top 25 squad. No time to revel in that victory though, as rival Ridgeway (Memphis) looms Tuesday.

9. (20) Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.), 4-0
The Buffaloes may have had the best weekend of any team in the Xcellent 25. At the State Farm Tournament of Champions in Illinois, SCA went 3-0 highlighted by a 68-45 win over then-No. 8 La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.).

Roselle Catholic opens Dec. 20 vs. The Patrick School (Elizabeth).
