The high school girls basketball season is winding down as every state has crowned champions. Tuesday's McDonald's All American Game, GEICO Nationals later this week and the State Champions Invitational next week are all that remains.

Syla Swords scored a game-high 27 points while center
Kate Koval (21 points, 10 rebounds) and
Kayleigh Heckel (19 points, 12 assists) each added a double-double. Heckel led the way in the South Shore win with 20 points and five assists.

Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) looms at GEICO Nationals but it will have to get past No. 25
