For the second straight season, the Papillion-LaVista South Titans finish at the top of the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.
The Titans completed their season with their second straight Nebraska Class A championship, beating Omaha Burke 3-0 in the championship match. They have also won 78 matches in a row and their top three players, Amber and Kadie Rolfzen and Kelly Hunter, all return next year.

The Titans could still get a challenge from Lake Travis (Austin, Texas), which is going for a Class 4A state championship in Texas. The Cavaliers advanced to the final four and are aiming for their second straight state title.
Then there is Chaparral (Parker, Colo.), which completed its season undefeated with a 31-0 record and a win over Grandview (Aurora) in the championship match. The Wolverines also have a long win streak with 53 victories in a row.
One undefeated team to drop this week was St. Ursula Academy (Toledo, Ohio), which fell out of the Top 50 after falling to Mount Notre Dame (Cincinnati) in the Ohio Division I championship match.

The Titans won their second straight Nebraska Class A state championship with a 25-15, 25-11, 25-17 win over Omaha Burke. They also topped Millard West 3-0 and Omaha Marian 3-0 in the first two rounds. The Titans have won 78 straight matches and finish their season ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 for the second year in a row.
Kadie Rolfzen had 15 kills and
Amber Rolfzen added 12.

2. (2) Lake Travis (Austin, Texas), 47-0
The Cavaliers easily reached the
Texas 4A state tournament with a first-place finish in Region 4. Lake Travis defeated Canyon (New Braunfels), Calallen (Corpus Christi) and Cedar Park all in three straight sets. The Cavaliers join Region 1 champ Randall (Amarillo), Foster (Richmond), and Pearce (Richardson) in the final four.
3. (3) Chaparral (Parker, Colo.), 31-0
The Wolverines captured the
Colorado Class 5A state championship with a 3-0 win over Regis Jesuit (Aurora) in the semifinals and a 3-0 win over Grandview (Aurora) in the championship match. Chaparral dropped just six games all year in finishing undefeated at 31-0. The Wolverines are 61-1 over the past two seasons and have won 53 matches in a row.

The Panthers opened the

The Eagles reached the
Florida Class 8A state semifinals with a 3-0 win over Palm Harbor University in the regional semifinals and a 3-0 win over Winter Park in the regional final. East Lake meets DeLand on Friday in the semifinals.

Lovejoy captured the
Texas Class 3A Region 2 championship with a 3-0 win over Prosper. The Leopards also defeated Argyle 3-0 and North Lamar 3-0.

Topped Jesuit 3-0 in the
Oregon Class 6A state championship match after defeating Aloha 3-0 in the semifinals. Central Catholic lost just three games all season in posting a 33-0 overall record.
