Video: Highlights of Tom Brady at Serra High
See the future Hall of Fame quarterback when he was a prepThe knock on Facebook to some is that it gets
too personal: TMI — too much information — for the taste of many.
To others: "We can't get enough." The more personal the better.
Today, on Tom Brady's pubic Facebook account, he posted an essay he wrote in high school at
Serra (San Mateo, Calif.) about growing up with three older and well-known sisters.
He received an ‘A' from Mr. Stark, earning 47 of 50 points. Here are some excerpts:
"I was raised in a family where the expectations were high and the failures were inexcusable. I was a small, pudgy, temperamental young lad that was always in the wrong place at the wrong time."

The four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback wrote about being the "odd man out" in a family of sisters, and "their tag-along little brother."
He cautioned: "Don't get me wrong, I was very proud of my sisters and I love them with all my heart, but I wished I would be recognized as an individual and not as another 'Brady.'"
Remember, folks, this was when he was a senior at Serra in 1994.

The "Deflategate" backers will have a field day with that passage.
He concludes by honoring his sisters Maureen, Julie and Nancy, but notes: "Hopefully, just maybe, one day people will walk up to them and say, ‘Aren't you Tommy's sister?' or ‘Hey, where is your brother?'"
Obviously ‘Tommy' got his wish.
