11 football showcase events that can't be missed in 2012

Top Game: Euless Trinity vs. Tulsa Union

While this is not totally a Texas vs. Oklahoma showcase, the second day of games features an interstate doubleheader that cannot be beat: Jenks (Okla.) vs. DeSoto (Texas) and Union (Tulsa, Okla.) vs. Trinity (Euless, Texas). The venerable Texas teams will be playing host to Oklahoma opponents that have won a combined 16 OSSAA 6A state championships. Also on the card is a Dallas/Fort Worth-area vs. Midland, Texas challenge as Carroll (Southlake, Texas) hosts Midland (Texas) and Bell (Hurst, Texas) welcomes Midland Lee (Texas).
