Kourtney Coveney compiled a 30-4 record and batted third in the order, one spot higher than sophomore third baseman

Head coach: Lori Alexander
Seven starters return, including LSU signee
Maribeth Gorsuch, who pitched Lewisville to a state title in 2013 and to the finals a year ago when her season record was 22-4. The speedy Farmers also rely on the keystone combination of
Tommi Goodman and
Kaylee Rodriguez. Gorsuch, the team's top hitter, was making a comeback last season after being struck in the face by a batted ball in a summer league game. She suffered a fractured eye socket and cheekbone.
