Eight Georgia state champions will be crowned this weekend as the high school football season comes to a conclusion.
In the AAAAAAA finals, it's the Battle of the Eagles as national No. 19 Milton and L.T. Overton look to topple No. 3 Collins Hill and Travis Hunter on Saturday at Center Parc Stadium on the campus of Georgia Tech.
Collins Hill is looking for its first state crown and exact a little
more revenge in the process. In its only meeting with Milton since 2004,
Collins Hills lost 44-14 in the first-round of the 2017 AAAAAAA
playoffs.
Action begins Thursday with Prince Avenue Christian battling Trinity Christian in the A-Private finals and culminates Saturday with the AAAAAAA final.
